Hard to believe today is the last day of 2009. What a year, seems like just yesterday the temps were in the 80’s, the kids were begging to hit the lake and the BBQ was on queue for dinner. Mom was right, the cliché holds true, the older you get, the faster it goes. No regrets for the year, we maintained, even flourished a bit. We listened and learned and challenged ourselves to reach beyond the norm. We were humbled by amazing accomplishments and relished in new and old friendships shared. On many levels, 2009 was a year of growth.
 

Any-who, as we sit here this afternoon at Darby Communications HQ sipping a little congratulatory champagne, we wanted to take a minute to say thank you to our clients (whom we truly adore and appreciate), our media partners, who persevered through an extremely challenging year in publishing, and our industry, the outdoor industry…whom we love. We know it sounds cheesy, but the outdoor industry is more than a means of doing business, it is who we are, a way of life for us. It not only sustains us financially, but feeds our souls, inspires creativity, and provides relaxation. Remember, regardless of the times, good or bad, peace and comfort can always be found in the outdoors. Here’s to 2010, may it provide you all with good health, inner peace and prosperity, as well as some more time outside.
