Events
15 Km:
The course starts and finishes at the grassy field near Navarino Nature Center.  The trail winds through thick pine forest, oak savannah, and through prairie dominated by Big Blue Stem grasses.  However, over half the route follows the shoreline of the wildlife rich Pikes Peak, Loop, and 80-Acre Flowages, including the much loved southern ridge and its abundance of inspiring vistas.  The route also includes boardwalks through lush tamarack ringed bogs.  The trail is relatively wide the entire distance with a firm dirt, mowed grass, or moss covered surface.  Aid stations at 4.4 and 7.3 miles with water only.  Runners must carry a water bottle to refill at aid stations.
